Bellows AFS Recreation Center was much larger than I expected. This is a full featured recreation area. There's several types and sizes of recreational lodging, family campsites, and group campsites. In addition to the beautiful private beaches, there's disc golf, miniature golf, a driving range, and a game room.Bellows AFS is an inactive airfield, established in 1917 by the Presidential Executive Order that created the Waimanalo Military Reservation on land that was leased from the Waimanalo Sugar Plantation. The station covers almost 1500 acres on the windward side of O'ahu near the southeast corner of the island.Bellows Beach Park is closed to the public on weekdays and only opened from Friday at noon until Sunday at midnight.
